It’s a great sign. What ever became of the wonderful carved wooden signs that used to be around Gloucester back in the 60s? There was a full sized butcher over the door at Brown’s Market and a Figurehead woman outside the Rhumbnline. There were others too. I think the artist was Art Call, but that could be wrong.

I guessed at first glance that was the work of Chris Williams.
If you don’t know about Chris, he does fantastic metal work. He used to be part of the Cape Ann Artisans tour.
