Actually, she’s not up for repairs but for something much more exciting!! An engine has been donated and this haul out is to get ready for the installation which will begin next month. Through recent donations, not only will an engine but also some sails will be installed by the end of the summer with the goal (fingers crossed) for Schooner Adventure to resume participation in the Parade of Sails during this year’s Schooner Festival.

so interesting that these large lengthy sailing schooners have essentially no keel–and hence speed is best characteristic.
