I'm Marty Luster, a retired attorney and politician. In 2010 my wife, mother-in-law, dog and I relocated from Central NY to Gloucester. I hope my photographs and poetry(?) reflect my love for this place and her people. Hey Marty – Your night photo of Rogers Street reminds me of photos in one of the best photography books ever published: Brassai’s “Paris de Nuit” (Paris by Night), 1931.

If you look back on this portion of Rogers St .you’ll find the following. Tally’s Mobile Gas Station , Joe Lattasa’s Auto Repair, Ben Boat Engine Repair , and Budrows Shell Station , Jerry’s Tavern , where Latitude 43 now is , along with the rear of Sears & Robucks, Kelleher’s , and the Dugout.
Henry the Hatters . . So much for now. Thanks for the Shadow of my memories
