I'm Marty Luster, a retired attorney and politician. In 2010 my wife, mother-in-law, dog and I relocated from Central NY to Gloucester. I hope my photographs and poetry(?) reflect my love for this place and her people.

On a related note, if anyone is interested in learning more about the pinky Ardelle, the Essex Shipbuilding Museum will be opening this weekend for the 2011 season. On our guided tours (3x a day – 10:30, 1, 3) you can visit the activity next door at Harold Burnham’s yard.
These are the closeup views you don’t get while driving by. Thanks for taking the time to walk on over there and snap a few for the fan club. Great job, as usual, Marty.
Love this series Marty!

So nice to see Harold building again. That man makes magic with wood. I can’t wait to see the boat when my wife and I get out there this June.
