Welcome To Gloucester Marty!

Back on October 3 Marty luster came to Gloucester with his son Brian, a Brooklynite who runs the fantastic water blog A Movable Bridge

Brian came to Gloucester with his dad Marty and attended the International Dory seaon wrap up party and dory raffle determined to win the dory.

Marty fell so in love with Gloucester after just one visit he determined he had to move here.

He landed the day before yesterday and I’m sure he is deep into unpacking boxes and all that goes with a big move. But i wanted to welcome him.

welcome welcome welcome!

Here’s some video from the night marty arrived in Gloucester which he probably didn’t know at the time but ended up being a huge crossroad in his life.

Marty has his own site as well as son Brian-
Here’s his site: http://www.photonewsservice.com/

Toodeloos and Glazed Team Up For Tile Project

You can go to Glazed where 200 tiles have been pre-purchased and you can design your own tile for free which will be installed on the walls of Toodeloos Toy Store at 137 Main Street once it opens Memorial Day Weekend!

A great free activity for you and your kids to make something that will be permanently installed downtown for years to come.  Imagine year after year being able to pop into the store and see your child’s tile on the wall as they get older!

What a great idea.

Here’s the info for Glazed-

Closed for the Season

Today is the last day until September that dogs are allowed on the beach. I know Coconut will be very sad, but I think that means it’s officially summer.

The Easy Art of Meditation Saturday 4pm-5pm

I don’t recommend things easily.

But I took Annette Dions Meditation class last month at the Cape Ann Healing Center and since then I’ve been Meditating Daily. It really does help you Focus and relax. It’s also helps bring down your blood pressure. Working with GMG’S Joey I found out I really needed it!

I found a lot of free Guided Meditation Mp3s on Apple Itunes site That help you stay focused breathing. It’s also fun.

Beginning Painting 1 by Deb Clarke

“Painters who are not colorists produce illumination and not painting….color gives the appearance of life.”
