Holy smokes. Sometimes I think I imagined this show, none of my contemporaries seem to know about it, but they could recite the dialogue from the Flintstone’s.
There was one episode where a kid found some thick styrofoam and attached some discarded Venetian blinds to the bottom and turned them into water-walkers. Kind of like cross country skis for the open water. Heroic and inspired me to try a lot of things that did not turn out quite as well.
