WHO YOU GONNA CALL?
When there’s a major emergency.
When the electricity goes out.
When the Cell Phone Towers are out of service.
Amateur Radio Operators. That’s who.
They are ready to assist in any emergency where you need to communicate when there’s nothing else available.
They’ve helped in Earthquakes, Hurricanes, tornado’s, Snowstorms, etc.
They also help out coordinating community events. Such as parades, concerts, road races, etc.
Our local Ham Radio Club CAARA is a very active part of the community.
CAARA also holds free classes to become a Amateur Radio Operator.
They can make you one in a day!
If you want to learn how to become Amateur Radio operator, check out CAARA’S webpage for all info, classes and Amateur Radio events.
