Dog owners don’t lick the same ice cream they let their dogs lick do they?

This isn’t really happening, right? This has to be an ice cream Kenny specifically bought for his dog. Like there’s no possible way he’s gonna take a lick of that ice cream right? Because I’m physically ill thinking about that possibility.

  1. This was announced just a couple months ago and the data seems to be holding up. It is good for you to share your dog’s microbiome. Cuts down on diseases, autoimmune disorders, all sorts of stuff.

Think of it like probiotic yogurt on steroids! When’s the last time you saw a dog with a cold? That would be never! So what Kenny is doing makes sense. Let the dog lick your ice cream that eat it right up. While you are at it, french kiss your dog.

Or you could end up being one of those people that needs to replace your gut bacteria, your microbiome, with a fecal transplant. Yeah, it’s what you think it is. Some people are so anal retentive that their gut microbiome is is so whacked out a doctor has to squirt someone else’s shit up their ass to recolonize their gut biome.

I shit you not. So lick your dog. Let your dog lick you. Lick your neighbor’s dog. (Introduce yourself first.) It’s all good for you.

Ever since I share my smoked bluefish paté with Stella I have not had one cold!

  2. But this is not really new info. It has been known for decades that children who grow up in households with dogs are protected against asthma, infection, allergies. But now because we can sequence the gastrointestinal microbiome and see what a diverse number of bacteria and viruses live in your poop that we are just now finding out why.

You think bacteria in your mouth to anus is gross? Those bugs outnumber your human cells ten to one! And if they were not there you would be sick as a dog (one that does not get to lick people) in no time. No bacteria in your gut means 24/7 diarrhea!
