  1. Racism has been far too acceptable for far too long. My heart goes out to *everyone* in Baltimore. I hope other cities find the strength to rise above those who abuse their power to hurt fellow humans (who may have a different skin color and/or religion than themselves), and protest in a more peaceful way. Living in a predominantly white community as we do, I feel it is important not to buy into stereotypes of any kind, suspend judgement and hold as much compassion for others as possible during times like these. They are not rioting, as others have, because their team won or lost. Peace! ☺💓

  2. Did you see the video of the mom who smacked her teenage son and chased him home because he was joining the riot? AWESOME!! There is also a video of a man sweeping up the mess in a Baltimore street and a couple of people joined in to help, picking up litter the rioters left behind. I love these because they point out that the idiots destroying their own city are not representative of the black community there.

  3. Yes the mom did what the heart told her too! Many of these folks are not local and many are gang members too I have a few friends that way very painful (Frustration I was talking about)…Traveling trouble in most cases…And solves nothing all the money and work to fix will take away from those who need the help the most…Hurts me as I grew up through all this in the 60’s and 70’s…:Dave
