Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month people are coming up with unique ways to celebrate and support the cause, or in this case support the cause without support. today is being deemed by many, “No Bra Day.”
After doing a little research into what could have become my favorite day of the year after my birthday, I found that there is an actual National No Bra Day in on July 9th. That means that this is just some made up day, most likely by a guy who is in need of seeing some breasts covered only by shirts rather than bras and shirts.
People all over social media are buying into it, and it is fine by me… Raise awareness for a good cause, and have a little fun doing it!

Every year they have a parade of women nude from the waist up at the Woman’s Hall of Fame in Geneva or Seneca Falls NY (they are neighbor eachother and I get mixed up having spent some time in both) to draw attention to where, with the help of such personages of Susan B. Anthony, the woman’s civil rights and suffrage was and still is headquartered. It is open to woman of all ages but in a very isolated area today. I really never attended any of the parades but it does draw attention to the lenghts that woman had to go through to attain some measure of equality which is still mostly all they are asking today and still falling short. Perhaps they should move the parade to NYC, or at least have someone supply some sort of national coverage so to speak. This is an addressment issue that must have been considered very drastic in days gone by but not enough to resolve the issue.
