Spring Beaver. I got yelled at about the mononut bunny so I’m going to keep my mouth shut on this one.

A true classic indeed! If money makes the world go round, it’s humor that keeps it from spinning out of control.

Hi Craig–I saw a beaver at Niles Pond two weeks ago–but no dam nor tree that looks as though it will come crashing down at any second.

Hey Kim! I’ll be going back to see if the little chomper finished the job. I have photos of another tree as well. I must have disturbed that one, because it barely got it started and took off.

It’s fun and interesting to see thoughtful posts about wildlife activity here on Cape Ann – it reminds us of the richness of our environment, and of how this blog is a terrific forum for sharing insights, humor, and current events. On the other hand, it’s not so much fun to see recycled grade school jokes pointlessly pushed to the forefront. I think that every adult knows that many English words have multiple meanings, and it’s silly to parade such knowledge as if it were a fresh or original idea.
