I know that it will be fixed by Spring for all to again enjoy the crossing of imprints of time
The Footbridge of Life
thepoetryofpeteralberttodd.weebly.com
By Peter A. Todd
The ocean’s tide is a reflection of life
As our nights are turned into days
Young people with their hands clung tight
Searching their hearts for words to say
Children running and playing along the beach
Building Sand Castles of their dreams
The Elders crossing the bridge at day’s peak
Mirrored by the evening’s moonlight gleam
The ocean reaching into the shadowed sands
Erasing the footprints along its way
Night’s glistening moon, Mirror of God’s hand
Guiding nature’s course along the bay
The Footbridge of Life crosses the sands of time
That we in our hearts must not ignore
We must treasure life for all that it holds
For in its passing we gain Heaven’s shore

It looked like it might not last through the next high tide. I found some pretty big pieces down closer to the beach club.
I’ll check again in the morning.

It looks like M.C. Escher painted a footbridge. LOVE this shot!
