Wow what a difference you have made on this landmark…Looks Great!! I remember this shack in the 60’s when George Morey worked out of it and always had his nets strung fixing them. Back Breaking work for sure – bring the fish in rope up the fish basket on pulley and hand pull it up to the landing. It’s sad to see how fishing impacts Cape Ann just finished reading -this on the GDT times home page. I will say from living in other locations during my active USAF days retired now from Military – the New England fisherman were and continue to be good stewarts very hard to make a living – if everyone were good stewarts of the resources ocean – be allot more fish.
Once again great job on this landmark something about sitting on the brealwall listening to the waves and beautiful sunset and sunrises…I still remember my Grandmother’s saying in her Bayview house Washington street “The way to a friends house is never far.” How true! 🙂 Rest in peace she made it to 106 years young almost 107. Ms Chester Macneil! I miss her and her wisdom!
