I’ve just about recovered from last week’s controlled explosion, so I’m ready to jump off that fiscal cliff once again to present to you that rat-a-tat rascal of the surf ‘n’ turf guitar: Mr. Bobby Davis. It’s gonna be great night as we gather Bob and his wish list of heavy artillery in the form of Mr. Dave Brown, guitarist xtroidinaire, and Dave Mattacks, the Atomic Clock. If I miss a beat, he’ll find it. Rheumer has it that it’s someone’s special birthday (not mine), so we’re gonna pull out all the stops. Come and confess all your sins!
And don’t forget: The following Thursday sees the annual return of the saxophone solstice featuring the one and only “Sax” Gordon Beadle, the grim reaper of all cutting contests.
And, if you’re under employed, why not come down to the Rose Baker Senior Center next Monday. The Good Old Salty Jazz Band holds sway from 1 to 3 pm. Get your kicks on Rt. 127!
