It’s Block Party time again, this Saturday from 6pm until 11pm. Main Street will be jumping from Pleasant Street to Washington Street. Outside, Bodin Historic Photo gallery will feature artists Laura Jardullo (Dress Code) and Laureen Maher (Beauty Bar) displaying their work outside with other artists, in addition to more gallery art inside. We’ll be rockin’ with food, drink, and tunes. On this part of Main Street, which we call "Best of the West," POP Gallery will have snacks and libations, Premier Imprints will be open until 7pm, The Cave will host a cheese and chocolate tasting, Cape Ann Olive Oil will have 15 olive oils under the tent, with a Stonewall Kitchen tasting inside the store. Adding to the festivities, all of the restaurants will be serving alfresco. It will be a wonderful night! We hope to see you. Fred

VISIT KIDS’ TOWN FOR GAMES, FACEPAINTING, KID SNACKS AND MORE!

After the Block Party winds down, many Gloucester venues will continue music into the wee hours, so there’s no reason to go home when the music on the street ends.  One of my favorite bands (KBMG Electric) will be heating things up at Minglewood Tavern.
