You spend 24/7/365 saying All The Right Things to the media. Every single day when they try to bait you into saying some disparaging remarks about opposing teams or percieved malcontents on your own team you ALWAYS without fail brush aside comments and diffuse any possible media shitstorm.
And then moments after a devastating loss in the Superbowl with the entire world watching your Victoria Secret All Star Supermodel drops a bomb saying something to effect that her husband "can’t throw AND catch the balls"-effectively throwing his receivers under the bus and undoing all the goodwill the guy has built up with his classy image year after year.
When the shit hits the fan and the Boston Sports Media does its usual hysteria laden rants against you, do you give her a pass because she’s a smokeshow Supermodel or do you flip out?

It’s one of those things that married couples sometimes have to endure since we all shoot off our mouths too much at times. I’ll bet she has already apologized to Wes, Deion and Aaron and the whole team for losing her cool. And let’s hope the “nothing better to do” media will “just let it go” for a change and try to focus on moving forward. I’m sure Tom and the team have moved way past this by now….just hoping anyway.

Welker was not that game’s undoing, Giselle was caught right at the whistle, and for the most part I thought it was pretty funny and actually makes her more cute because she seems to really love our quarterback enough to heave tons of bodies under the bus.
I think she definitely gets a pass. You think Tom is going to kick her out of bed this weekend because she’s eating Oreo Cookies? I don’t think so.

Joey I love this post lol! I think Giselle needs to relax and stop acting like her husband needs all this sticking-up-for…between this fiasco and also the whole “please pray for my insecure inept husband and give him confidence and help him win the superbowl” email cluster…I hope she has finally learned her lesson and zips those lips from now on!
