I have a suggestion for anyone from Bev Farms- drive the speed limit in Gloucester. Don’t get pulled over, under any circumstances. Don’t tell anyone where you are from at the bars- it is actually safer to say “Manchester-by-the-sea” now than “Beverly Farms”. If your boat is registered in Bev Farms and you are in trouble, don’t call on a Gloucester boat for a tow. I wouldn’t even dock a Bev. Farms registered boat in Gloucester, even for an hour. In general, Beverly Farms should consider hiring those Blackwater guys to come in and patrol the town for the next few years. Pissing off Gloucester was a bad move. Gloucester may have problems, but the people here take care of their own. It’s inevitable that someone will have seen the greasy pole/penis renditions and the filthy, insulting slogans and have taken real offence and will come down there and do something stupid. For rich people, you are really, really stupid.

Wow, who in the world OK’ed this float?? I have never seen anything like that in my life! The organizers of that event should be ASHAMED of themselves. To take something as wholesome as a 4th of July parade and to allow such a thing is a disgrace. The citizens of that community should be up in arms in my opinion.

But this went way overboard!!!I would be ashamed at letting my kids watch your parade..It was absuletly disgusting..I cant believe your town would allow such filth and hatred..Your kids are no better..Just because you people were born with silver spoons in your mouth doesnt make you any better..

I think people are jealous of Gloucester..We really do have the best beaches,food,friendly nieghbors ,and best culture.. .. I moved here in 2000..I have lived in many places around the North Shore and this is the best place I have ever lived.I have never lived in such a friendly loving community..And for Toni it really doesnt suck to be me!!!
