No I didn’t try it, but I’d love to do a video testimonial with someone opening it and doing a video taste test. Anyone want to do it?

Gloucester Exposure On CBS Around The World For Free With Jeff Schroeder
Jeff literally showed up around 7:30PM and the sheer number of Gloucester locations that we squeezed in was outstanding. Huge thank you to Mark Ring who took us out on the Stanley Thomas to the Greasy Pole and Mike Tupper who caught the Albino lobster and allowed us to release it for the show(we had been holding it in our tanks so his father in law could see it).

Rockport Anadama at Lattof Farms
Monkey Bread at Lattof Farms comes out of the oven around 9:30AM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. So what am I to fuel up on if I am leaving town on Monday morning? Chrissy at the farm stand tells me to try the Anadama Bread. She said it was perfect toasted with tomato and some mayo. Since I was picking up tomatoes and native corn I went for it.
It was still warm from the oven and it never made it into a tomato sandwich. We ate the whole thing on our drive to Wayland. Lattof Anadama seems to crank up the mollases and tone down the cornmeal to make something that is great torn off and stuffed in the pie hole all by itself.
Fun Fact: Anadama Bread has its own wiki page. Does anyone believe the origin of the name story on that page? Sounds a tad hokey:
“A fisherman, angry with his wife, Anna, for serving him nothing but cornmeal and molasses, one day adds flour and yeast to his porridge and eats the resultant bread, while cursing, ‘Anna, damn her.'”
Next week my own tomatoes will be coming off the vine and they are going to find a home between two slices of this bread with some Hellman’s. (I know not using Cains is Cape Ann sacrilege but I spent too much time in the midwest to shake my addiction to Hellman’s)
Sorry, no photos, I ate it.
[edit] Forgot to say where Lattof farm is. You know when you go by the “new” Rockport police station and you are putting your car in neutral so you can coast all the way to Dock Square? Lattoff farm stand is on the left hand side as you start down the hill to five corners.

Dean Salah Writes In- Georges By Night Seats Still Available
Hey all, just wanted to throw this out, the Georges By Night event coming up next Sat, the 31st of July
is still not sold out, for those of you familiar with these nights you know they usually sell out in a matter of
days, but for some reason this date is still available. The meal is as always a full course offering, this one featuring hawaiin chicken. The entertainer is a true professional having toured with some greats such as the James Cotton Band, the Zaitchik Brothers Band, Muddy Waters and Charlie Daniels. His name is Michael Zaitchik and although his name may not be
familiar to you, he is a real talented musician. We are fortunate to be able to host him and I hope we can get the place
sold out. If you know of anyone looking for a different night out, that might be interested, or if you want to reserve a table
get into Georges and reserve your place.
Thanks for your help, Dean
**BREAKING NEWS** well, not really
While I was at the State Fish Pier. enjoying a home brewed cup of Coffee and reading my new Book
“The Yellow House: Van Gogh, Gauguin, and Nine Turbulent Weeks in Provence”(I may be as F’D Up as he was) this morning. I looked up and spotted a fast moving object heading my way. Man, those Seagulls can fly when they get a Tail Wind! Then out of the corner of my eye I spotted a very slow, sluggish and weighted down surface vessel. Oh, it was Paul Morrison in his new Surge Kayak hugging the State Fish Pier. what a Beautiful colored (not Paul’s beat red face) Kayak, Light blue top with white hull. Very Sleek! (again, not Paul Morrison).
After Tossing Paul a couple of Lattof Farms Monkey Breads from Rockport, Ma.
He headed off into the Sunset, I mean Sunrise.
But, Really. He was moving pretty Fast. That new Boat will do him good in next years Blackburn Challenge. He has a little work to do getting out of the thing. But I promised not to say anything about that. If I had some Manbags I’d be out there with him on Sunday Mornings.
Here are a few Photos of Paul and his Kayak from today;

North Shore Dish Photo
Finding ourselves in Gloucester on a recent sultry summer day, we needed to quench our thirst, and where better to find a frosty quaff than Cape Ann Brewing Company? A small craft brewing company, CABC has gained not just a loyal following but a popularity that reaches far beyond local.
In 2002, owner Jeremy Goldberg and a handful of friends decided to travel the country, experiencing 38 craft breweries in 40 days. The result was a documentary film entitled “American Beer, a Bockumentary.” Goldberg then moved to Gloucester to start his own operation, and in 2004, Cape Ann Brewing Company was born.
That’s just to whet your thirst for more North Shore Dish goodness. For the Rest Of The Story Click The Link-
