You have so inspired me with your Good Morning Gloucester that I talked our Milford, NJ merchants into adopting the same concept. It has become a popular page through Facebook. Good Morning Milford has been such a positive way to present our area to not only the locals who forget about the blessings of a small town, but also our bed and breakfast guests from all over the world. They can keep up with life on the river. We are a community on both sides of the Delaware River (New Jersey and Pennsylvania), the Delaware River Valley.

Big Time Bluefin Tournament Coming To Gloucester This Summer
Thirty years ago Gloucester, Massachusetts was home to one of the best Bluefin Tuna tournaments in New England. So when my good friends Rob Bouley and Joe Boreland brought up the idea for a big tournament, I knew it was time to bring all tuna fanatics back to America’s Oldest Seaport for the Lyon-Waugh Auto Group First Annual 2012 BLUEFIN BLOWOUT!
Our home base at Cape Ann’s Marina Resort is the premier location to access the tuna fishing grounds north to Ipswich Bay, east to Jeffrey’s Ledge and south to Stellwagen Bank. Our mission is to gather commercial and recreational, experienced and greenhorn, young enthusiasts and old salts together for a weekend full of huge prizes, great bands, big parties and amazing fishing!
Nothing compliments two days of competitive fishing like three days of music, food, cocktails and fish stories. The feel of a big tournament will be in the air with the suspense of the day’s cash Calcutta. Get a chance to talk to some of the captains and mates on the new National Geographic series “Wicked Tuna” and watch as some of the biggest tuna fish of the year are weighed in right on location.

With an upcoming Gloucester gig June 2 gig at The Madfish on Rocky Neck and their recent 2nd release “Colder Still”, these upstarts revvv things up with their own gumbo of Punk Americana..and everything from the Sax to the Fiddle to the Coffee Can are part of the sound. Great Bookstore in Rockport in New Location
Have you checked out Rockport’s newest old bookstore? Bullseye Books just moved from Bearskin Neck to a new location on Main Street, near Brother’s Brew Coffee Shop, Shalin Liu Performance Center, and Toad Hall Bookstore — you can get your caffeine, literary and cultural fix all in one spot downtown!
The bookstore has a great vibe, with plenty of flea market finds rounding out the great selection of used books. And the owners are entrepreneurs in more than one way, as they are also the purveyors of the soon-to-be-famous “Flyboy Scarf”, developed by owner Richard Clemens and manufactured right in Rockport, Mass. Easter Sunday Broadcasting Live From Terassini Sicily, Gloucester and Detroit. Gloucester’s Gianni Gallo and ItalicaTV Bring Us “La Festa degli Schietti”
Each year, on Easter weekend in Terrasini, Sicily, an ancient tradition dating back over 200 years ago is renewed: "La Festa degli Schietti" which celebrates all of the singles and unmarried of Terrasini; Also known as La Festa del’Albero” or The Feast of the Tree, its symbol and popular protagonist. Single men raise an orange tree decorated in traditional Sicilian garb and weighing over 100lbs . to demonstrate their strength to all the single ladies in town.
At dawn on Holy Saturday, in the citrus groves of Terrasini, the organizing committee of “Gli Schietti” begins the ritual of cutting the bitter orange tree, chosen in the months prior to the celebration. The tree is then decorated with colorful banners, and red handkerchiefs , "ciancianeddi", or the bells of the horses and "anieddi", little lambs made of marzipan.
In the early afternoon, the tree is loaded on a Sicilian cart andtriumphantly arrives in town, led by the carpenter who fits it for the lift.
At dawn, on Easter morning, Terrasini is awakened by fireworks reminding the community of the big day. The blessing of the tree by the pastor marks the official start of the joyous celebration; Traditional Sicilian carts accompanied by a marching band parade about the town and Sicilian folklore groups and, of course, music entertain in the Piazza. For the single men it is the ultimate test of strength and skill to lift the tree at the balcony of “la zita”, their betrothed.
