Afternoon walk on Wingaersheek Beach

On Monday the wind died down and so I decided to take a walk on Wingaersheek Beach.  Again never disappoints.  The tide was very low.

  1. Donna,

Beautify entrance to beach and tidal pools are always fun. How high did the winds get with storms? Notice after these lots of branches an and leaves fall. The sights are both beautiful and at times very concerning as expectations can change and sort of roll with it as it comes! Something we have very little control over when happens but there are things we can do to minimize impacts through actions.

    Action/Reaction – Proactive/Reactive comes to mind.

Thanks, beautiful day for sure and not to far from house location around 7 1/2 miles 20 plus minutes depending upon traffic and weather conditions. You are always so positive when out and about – stay you! 🙂 Dave & Kim 🙂

    1. Thanks Dave, we are supposed to get another wind and rain storm over the weekend, not any damage from the wind but if it continues that is when the trouble starts. Have noticed the tides are very high.. Climate change, the views every day change and so grateful to live here. Take good care

  2. Being there and seeing it first hand there is no doubt impacts of climate change water marks on rocks, break walls and coves. Being grateful is the link in the chain of life that keeps the spirits flowing and awareness is the other link to happiness within.

Some of the many photo’s shared here I have also noted some high cove tides up and over.

I read a 2015 study while doing some research on this PDF.

    Thanks 🙂 Dave & Kim 🙂

      1. Yes, welcome Donna! You see it more closely/clearly out and about along it being there! Limited access to dunes; we did not have so much back in 1950 – 1960’s or just didn’t know long term potential impacts or limits fragile vegetation as we do today. As you never graduate from the school of experience and it’s many lessons each day, year, path forward.
        Dave 🙂
