Thanks for this post. I signed up for draft card June 1973, then it ended 5 days later end of June.
March 1973, 1974 and 1975, the Selective Service assigned draft priority numbers for all men born in (1954, 1955 and 1956), in case the draft was extended — but it never was it ended 5 days later end of June.
When I came active 1978. many supervisors and leaders came in military during Vietnam. Some high school friends when sophomore that went across the big pond also.. This will be quite a feature and art was very big while there from what I was told by many along with music…
