Several Panasonic models provide for seamless photos while filming. You hit the video button to start filming, and while it is running you simply use the shutter release to simultaneously capture still images that appear in the video as 4 second clips.You can even choose to have the stills produced in your preferred aspect ratio or the video AR (16:9).Your settings for the stills remain independent of those for the video.It’s a fun tool.

Thank you Marty! I’ve been talking to the staff at B&H and there are some fantastic reasonably priced Panasonics available . I had a Panasonic before switching to Fuji along with Canon video camera, and loved it so will definitely be looking for this feature. Thanks again for the info!
