Pack Of Coyotes Photographed On Eastern Point After The Storm
Well, there’s a new pack-
Joey:
Our coyotes seem to have survived the winter. Here is the next generation playing around our house on Eastern Point, a little waterlogged on Fathers Day. We have 5 in all.
Best Regards, Pat

Omg. Cutest.
Fyi I feel SO MUCH sager around Coyotes now after getting some good tips from our Pup’s trainer!
* Don’t leave dogs alone in the yard unless you have 9’+ tall fence. Look into Coyote Roller fences (bet a handy person could make these).
* Get 2 x 50′ yellow training leads from Petsmart, link together and your pet can run around but not run off to a coyote (wear gloves so no rope burn).
* Do not tie to a post and “be right back”. Coyotes wait and watch and even learn your pattern for walks etc so mix it up.
* If nervous about walking, carry a collapsible self defense stick with wrist loop and a…
*Tactical 1000 Lumen flashlight which will temporarily blind a coyote, even in daylight (be VERY careful around people’s eyes!!).

Thanks for sharing. Must be fun to watch!
I’ve been wondering whether it was ever determined what caused the coyote’s death (seen down on iced-over Niles Pond) this winter? It was so sad.
