_The Stranger_ by Harlan Coban is very thought provoking. Takes a new direction on the “I know your secret” theme.

I am in the middle of The Boston Girl by Anita Diamant, one of my favorite authors. Love the Cape Ann ties. Told in the voice of the Jewish grandmother, the story follows the heroine growing up in Boston in the early 1900s. She spends several summers at the Rockport Lodge and exploring Cape Ann. Lovin’ it.

I’m reading a book written in 1994: A Map of the World by Jane Hamilton. What a brilliant writer! Two people, husband & wife, come to life thru each other’s eyes in an unbelievably believable, crazy/tragic plot which serves mainly to showcase Hamilton’s ability to capture the spirit of her characters. At times I laugh, at times I gasp. Can’t put it down.
