“Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day; show him how to catch fish, and you feed him for a lifetime”

Please join us in welcoming ArtLifting to Cape Ann for a celebration of powerful art by homeless and disabled artists. A selection of ArtLifting originals will be hosted by LEXICON GALLERY from May 8 (opening) through June 21. During the opening, one of the artists will be sharing his very powerful story.

ArtLifting provides artists the opportunity to earn their own income. By earning an income instead of receiving a handout, artists feel empowered which has a domino effect on every aspect of their lives. Artists gain self esteem plus resources which translates into finding housing, gaining employment, and getting out of bed each morning. It creates hope.

Originals, prints, and products such as hand painted cell phone cases will be available.

Don’t miss this inspirational show.
