Some of my fondest memories from my childhood in Gloucester involved my participation in stage productions at East Gloucester Elementary. I once played the part of a witch (not THE witch) in Hansel & Gretel, complete with full costume including the most perfect witch hat! I wore my costume for Halloween and was the best witch evah! In another show, I sang the Buttercup song in Pirates of Penzance. Who knew I could sing? Seeing the kids in the video brings back such great memories for me; I know these kids will also be happily remembering their part in the Robin Hood show for many many years to come, too! Bravo, kids! Bravo, East Gloucester Elementary! Bravo, GMG, for supporting these kids!

That was so much fun! I wish I was going to be there to see the show. It brought back lots of memories of being on that stage myself in the late 1950’s. Watching this trailer I could feel the angel wings harnessed to my back as I pretended to fly around that stage as an elementary school student myself! Break a leg, kids!!
