Just wanted to tell you about special Olympics coming to gloucester and see if you could help spread the word.
Special Olympics is now in Gloucester. Starting with Track and Field and adding other sports soon. Any special needs athlete interested in participating is welcome to join us Saturdays at Gloucester High School from 10-12 starting on April 4th. All skill levels and abilities are eligible to join. Volunteers are also needed to assist in training. Attached are links for the athlete application and class A volunteer forms. Forms will also be available on the 4th.

Good Morning Gloucester 
Thank you so much for posting this Joey – I had no idea this was happening, I called Shawn yesterday and he called me right back and Yianni is excited to meet his coaches this Saturday. Unless they have a kid with special needs people may not understand what a HUGE deal it is to have a Special Olympics team here on Cape Ann, many families have to travel to Danvers or Beverly or further to find SO opportunities for their kids so we are so grateful that Shawn and Kathy are taking this big project on and know the Cape Ann community will support them and our SO athletes to make this a success!
