Cape Ann TV Announces
Sports Coverage Training Workshop
Gloucester, MA – Cape Ann TV (www.capeanntv.org ), a non-profit local
access cable station serving Gloucester, Rockport, Manchester-by-the-sea,
and Essex, is hosting a sports coverage training workshop on
Thursday, April 2, from 6-8pm
Attendees will qualify to be paid to cover Cape Ann high school sports
matches.
– Have you ever wanted to capture the action of live sporting events?
– Have you ever marveled at the production value of the Patriots or the
Bruins playing on tv?
Cape Ann TV has your Fighting Fishermen, Vikings, and Hornets covered, but
we need people interested to learn the basics of sports camera operation
to create the same magic you see for your favorite professional teams –
and get paid to do so!
The training session is free to all and will cover single- and
multi-camera setup and operation. To qualify for sports coverage, you must
use your own transportation, be able to lift 20lbs, and stand for the
whole game. Cape Ann Television pays $25 for single-camera coverage and
$40 per person for multi-camera coverage. To register for the workshop,
email Henry Cooper (hcooper@capeanntv.org) with the subject line “sports
training”
