Ok, this will be short and sweet, I promise.
But….winter has to officially end now because I.AM.DONE.
Would you like to know what just sent me over the edge?
SOCKS.
We live in flip flops for the majority of the spring…certainly the summer…and even a good part of the fall. Which, I am sure you are all onboard enough to realize, equals little to no socks in the laundry!
I hit my threshold this morning. An average week, thanks to normal days, six “hockeys”, a couple of runs, some changes of wardrobe due to stepping in boot puddles by the front or back door, cold feet at night, etc. can easily add up to 40 paris of socks each week. Shoot me.
I actually look forward to the occasional lost sock…because that means I can throw the widowed match away.

Thanks Nicole for the memories. When the 4 girls were around 12, 10, 10, and 7, I decided to count how much laundry we did in one month. shocking 120 loads a month. Love your posts

I do help here and it amazes me how things can go with laundry…For instance got a rash on ankles when Kim was in hospital after major surgery…The doctor’s first question was who normally doing the laundry? I said I was my wife in hospital a big smile came across his face and said cut back on the soap and ensure you wash it good! Keep in mind this is a washer that is written in all Korean so I did not know the cycles and missed a few steps 🙂 Dave:-O I got and education both ways and know now!
On the on sock throw away as a kid I would grab the mismatch and wore it until got teased about it! 🙂
Dave:-) & Kim 🙂
I guess this songs says it all for me :-O Guilty as charged Dave 🙂
