Dear GMG,
For those in the community who are concerned about the welfare of animals, there’s an upcoming forum at City Hall on Thursday May 23 @ 7PM. The goal is to bring the community together in light of the recent dog abuse cases and learn more about: abuse/neglect of animals; how these situations can be prevented; what to do if you are concerned a dog is being mistreated; and what the role of law enforcement is as it pertains to animal cruelty.
Michael Keiley of the MSPCA at Nevins Farm and our Chief of Gloucester Police, Leonard Campanello will be delivering short presentations and then we’ll have an audience Q & A period afterward.
If anyone has any questions, email gacforum@gmail.com.
Thanks for posting on your site!
