At least it isn’t a weekend for those restaurants.

I was planning on going to the Franklin with a friend, so when we found it closed, we wandered over to Latitude 43 instead. It turned out to be a happy accident! While the Franklin is excellent, my friend hadn’t been to Latitude 43 before (and I had only been once) so the variety was nice. We had a great dinner!

What did you and your friend have to eat at Lat 43? My friend Deb, our parking enforcement officer, said she a great pizza at Lat 43: “It was stacked,” she said.

Maybe I should post about it! We started with the lobster bisque (him) and the clam chowder. Both were very tasty, although his was not very hot. Then he had the halibut special and I had a vegetarian sushi roll. It was all delicious! I will post a photo of my roll, and some more details of our experience, probably on Friday…

I know, it can be really difficult to be reporting/photographing all the time. Two hours ago I saw a woman across the street in front of Palazola’s with a leashed dog. It was white with brown spots, wagging it’s tail. It was a PIG. I had customers, so I couldn’t take a photo. The pig’s name was Alamo.

We also had a great meal at Lat. We had the Spinach and Parmesan Cheese Arancinis for the first time, they were great!
