A few Rockport shops and galleries were open on Sunday and thankfully, there was hot coffee to be had at both Bean & Leaf and Brothers’ Brew. Bearskin Neck was pretty beat up, with chunks of asphalt upended, the buildings covered in ice, and debris scattered all over the place. Residents were hard at work cleaning up and were very gracious to those of us who were wandering on a Sunday stroll while they were trying to make their homes and businesses accessible and safe.

Great photos Sarah–thank you for sharing. First photo especially–is that your little one dwarfed by the snow bank? Pretty wild to see all those bricks strewn about!

Thanks Kim! Yes, that’s my little guy. The kids had fun taking in the altered landscape, and I agree about the bricks: pretty wild!
