  1. It is always a treat to celebrate with friends…the family I have Christmas dinner with, for years now, are Gloucester folk…now that their son and his wife live in NH, we have dinner there and from the artichoke dip, through the leg of lamb with all the accompanying side dishs, with tiramissou and Shirley, the Pie Lady’s, blueberry pie, it is a special time…my special contribution is bringing the wine, and this year I did not dissapoint the crowd (it was a 94 point Parker favorite, that complimented the meal to everyones’ satisfaction)…and tomorrow, It will be Kwanza, a chance to celebrate with friends and their cultural heritage…Joe, I will see you down the wharf, and Shew if I miss you there, you know where we will bump into each other…I am very excited about 2013…I wish you all well !!!!

    1. Hi Toby–I’m your cousin nancy, your mother Fay’s relative through the Gennet side of the family. My parents were Rose and Sidney Friedman and my grandparents ( one of them, either
Mary or Nathan were sister or brother to your grandparentslouis and Kayleh. My dad died this week at age 99, so we’re doing a bit of reminiscing, in Florida now but none of us live here. Hope you are well– seems like you still live in your childhood town, which mom and two sisters went to Barry’s Bar Mitzvah in 1966. Or maybe it was yours, not Arlie’s. Nmf123@pacbell.net
