Planning to attend… especially since the adorable little pooch in the picture looks just like my oh-so-pleasant little Toy Fox Terrier, Angel.

I have a chihuahua that looks similar but is docile and gentle and very sweet. I feel nearly every few days I am needing to defend her personality (and she hardly ever barks either) against an ocean of negative chihuahua stereotypes – and this photo really brought that up. I suppose if it were a pit bull – and I owned a pit bull I would feel similarly – that it feeds into negative perceptions. I’m sure you are a good photographer – but i really question your decision for subject matter.

The photo really had nothing personally to do with chihuahuas – it was representing a grouchy individual who needed coffee. I don’t know anything about negative stereotypes of chihuahas, except that they like tacos. Any that I have known have been very sweet.
