Tales of Bong Tree Island arrived today on Madfish Wharf. Here Con-Way Trucking backs onto the wharf and a flurry of artist friends and neighbors arrive on the scene to help unload the huge pallet of boxes and move them into the gallery. I unpacked the first box and immediately sold my first book to Valerie Ricker from Randolph, MA. Come by the gallery any time to check it out. Also, there will be a book launch Saturday and Sunday, 9/8&9 from noon to 5:00 and a Backer Reward Party (although everyone is welcome) on Sunday 9/9 from 5:00-8:00. Come by and enjoy a September Rocky Neck fling at Khan Studio and the GMG Gallery, 77 Rocky Neck Ave., G3.

Actually the whole process of this book has been pretty amazing – from the way it came into being, to all the people involved in the successful Kickstarter campaign, to the process of having it printed, and it arriving here today and everyone who turned out to help move all those boxes of books and then break out champagne to celebrate, and now the people who have purchased it today. I feel very fortunate.
