Once again and AMAZING weekend in Gloucester filled with TONS of activities. Wow. So excited for Waterfront Festival, glad GMG/Sista Felicia will be doing their knock-out-of-th-park Mason Jars/Ice Tea!! Question – is the Block Party rain or shine? I looked all over their website and couldn’t find anything. Don’t want to be pessimistic, just prepared! 🙂

Jenn – My understanding from Block Party organizer Valerie Marcley is that at 4 pm a decision will be made if the weather is rainy. If so, the music stages will be closed, but everything else will be open (up to individual shops). This information should appear on GMG prior to Bock Party’s 6 pm opening. I’ll be open late no matter what the weather, serving hors d’oeuvres and refreshments.

Thanks so much for the info, Fred. The latest weather reports looks like it will be clear or clearing right around 4pm, so fingers crossed the weather is nice for all. I’ll be hostessing at Sugar Mags, it will be a madhouse, but if I get a break, I’ll try to stop by your place. Have fun and best of luck!
