Check out these amazing photos taken by Charlie Carroll with his new Sony RX100. They were taken at the Beach at the Western end of the Boulevard, opposite the Tennis Courts. The first few shots were taken at Buswell’s Pond. The camera was hand held and the conditions were overcast with rain approaching. The average details for each shot were…
F 5.6… 1/160th sec… ISO 125… the Focal length was 10 mm… and no flash or tripod was used.
Charlie says he is still learning how to use this camera and hopes to be fluent soon. I can’t image what he will be getting when he becomes “fluent” with this camera. These are some insane shots. Of course, Charlie has a great eye and learns every minute detail of whatever equipment or program he works with.

Edit by Joey:
I can’t emphasize enough what stuffing this large sensor into this small of a camera can do for even the most average of photographers. imagine a camera you can carry around with you everywhere which can capture the same kind of photos as cameras with huge lenses that you have to hang around your neck or off your shoulder all day long. It’s a revolutionary camera. I can’t recommend it enough or give Sony enough props for producing it. To me, the most exciting camera announced in 10 years.
