I thought this was the perfect image to use to invite people for Mug Up – Sunday 9:30 am at Khan Studio & the GMG Gallery, 77 Rocky Neck Ave. Whoever owns this boat tied up in Smiths Cove, you’re invited to Mug Up too. Bill Hubbard of Gloucester is here visiting from Melbourne, FL for the 102nd Dahlmer Family Reunion. Bill’s mother was a Dahlmer, the 3rd of 13 kids, and sister to LA Dahlmer’s father. Bill will be at Mug Up, so come by and say hi.

That is very funny…you live and work on Rocky Neck, for years now, and you don’t know who owns MUG-UP…you must be recumbent…LOL…

I don’t understand what you think is so funny, or why you think I am lying down. With a couple of exceptions, I don’t know who owns any of the boats on Smiths Cove. The first time I saw the sailboat Mug Up was two days ago. So, since you obviously know and assume everyone else should also — who owns Mug Up?

Mark Lacey own’s the boat and the house on the water before The Studio…he and his wife have been there for some time now…the recumbent comment was not meant to insult you but to direct you to Mark as he can be seen riding his recumbent bicycle around Gloucester…again, I did not mean to ruffle any feathers…enjoy the day.

I haven’t met Mark, but I certainly have seen him riding around on his recumbent bicycle. I didn’t take it as an insult – I just didn’t understand your comment. Thanks for the clarification. One of these days we will have to meet. Come for Mug Up some time.

I hope you can make it Eileen. He was asking for you today and hoping to meet you while he’s here. He really enjoyed seeing your work in person.

Thank you, EJ.
It was great to finally meet you and Donna and Eileen and the others at mug up last Sunday. Therese and I had a great time during our, all too short, stay in Gloucester, visiting old friends and making new ones at the “Phyllis A” Saturday morning and the reunion to celebrate 102 years of the Dahlmer family in Gloucester.

I just read a article about Mug Up and seen the color of the paint is Marlin blue. I’m trying to find out what brand of paint was used

I found this chart of Marlin Blue paints, which might be helpful http://paintref.com/cgi-bin/colorcodedisplay.cgi?color=Marlin%20Blue. It is for cars, but I assume it would work on a boat as well.
