Polycystic Ovary Syndrom Lecture at Addison Gilbert Hospital

Addison Gilbert Hospital Endocrinologist Neil D. Kobrosky, M.D., will provide a lecture on Polycystic ovary syndrome on Friday, March 30 at 5:30 p.m. at Addison Gilbert Hospital, 298 Washington Street, Gloucester.  The free lecture will be held in the Longan Room located inside the Washington Street entrance.  Pre-registration is required by calling the

Discussion will review signs and treatment for polycystic ovary syndrome, a hormonal disorder among women of reproductive age that causes small cysts located along the outer edge of each ovary, causing  infrequent or prolonged menstrual periods,  acne and obesity can all occur in women with polycystic ovary syndrome. In adolescents, infrequent or absent menstruation may signal the condition.
