Last night7/24/11 aprox 8:30 pm a young girl was hit by a car on east main st. Gloucester. They took her by ambulance. I was just hoping someone could tell me how she is. Very concerned ,Karen Mahoney

One of our reporters said the girl is a Little League player who was carrying a ball bag, which absorbed some of the impact.. He saw her Tuesday, and said she attended a game but sat on the bench, knee bandaged but no cast, and on crutches.
