We were mobbed here at Bodin Historic Photo during the Block Party, as usual: 50% more foot traffic than Fiesta Saturday. This is an important event, not just for sales or number of visitors (both of which weren’t bad), but for the community. People talking, laughing, reconnecting, and hugging. It’s hard to believe that Block Party didn’t exist a few years ago. My thanks to the folks who started it and continue to keep it going.

What a great night. Nice to see folks that you don’t get to see all year and see the kids growing up. Maybe it’s time to think about opening the street every Sat. night at least during the summer to entice more tourism as well as residence of the whole city..
