Poll- How Much Does The Patriots Loss Bother You?

In an effort to get an idea of how important professional sports are to our readership I offer this poll-

On a scale from 1-10  10 meaning that the Patriots loss is personally devastating and 1 meaning that the Patriots loss means nothing to you.

if it doesn’t bother you, feel free to explain whether it is because you don’t care for professional sports, football in general or root for another team all together.

  1. There is a huge Patriots fan base in New Hampshire. We have a restaurant in Meredith, and that is the first thing people say to each other, how awful it is to lose that game. It’s like your legs have been cut from under you.

  2. I have never gotten the fascination over a bunch of men smashing into each other chasing a ball, and getting paid millions of dollars to do it.

  3. I’m going to take a beating for this: It actually made me happy because I’m a Steelers fan and I think we stand a better chance of beating the Jets than we would of beating the Patriots….

  4. In response to the comments about “millionaires”, I am in the middle of Mel Blount’s book, “The Cross Burns Brightly” and he said in the 1970s when he was with the Steelers, had played in 3 Super Bowls and 3 Pro Bowls, and the NFL had changed the rules (the so-called Mel Blount Rule) because he was too good at what he did, he was making $50,000 a year. Unbelievable.

  5. It appeared that maybe they had already planned to have this a loss.
Where was the offense, the defense and 5 sacks? It was all sooooo
    unexplainable.
