Nice shot. For a moon which only shows us one side it is amazing how different it looks each time you view it. The old man in the moon, the rabbit, the pretty lady.
In your shot the pretty lady is replaced by a shaved guerilla.
Anyone see the moon today over Thacher Island? Or over the dog walkers on Good Harbor Beach today? It was a dog’s day if you brought them down there.
Absolutely gorgeous. Thank you! I just finished a mystery set on Cape Ann called Moon Spinners, and I wish I had had this photo to inspire me while I was writing it. Now I need inspiring winter photos for the new Cape Ann mystery….I’ll be watching….!
Absolutely beautiful. Which full moon in December was it? Were you aware December was a “once in a blue moon” month? The 2nd full moon was on Dec.31,2009? The next blue moon one will appear in 19 years. Some of us already knew,but Ryan Seacrest(sp?) commented about it before the ball dropped at Time Square. Beautiful picture. Is that why I was acting funny that night. I woke up the next morning clothes all torn and the bars on my window were pushed out from the inside. Makes me wonder…lol…
