Tomorrow (Saturday Morning) the lobster trap tree will be taken down.
Ed Collard sent an email asking for any help they could get from the community. I’ll have our team of photogs there to capture it in the morning around 9am so show up and get your picture taken for GMG.
Hopefully we get a nice turn out of GMG fans to help out. Tell em Joey sent ya! It’s on Main St at the Police headquarters pavillion.

Thanks Joey, the more hands the better. GMG fans are an awesome bunch of civic minded souls so I’m sure that I’ll be emailing you early tomorrow to report the mission a success. Dave Brooks and I took down the buoys this morning and they’ll be on display at Cape Ann Art Haven until the auction at Cruisport on January 29th.

Gosh , I would be more than happy to join my Hometown friends of Gloucester in taking down the Christmas Trap Tree but for being way up here in Canada instead of Lanesville that I grew up in , it is impossible for me to share in this event. But knowing how the Cape sticks together, there will be enough to succeed in this event . It was really something to see this happen and thanks Gloucester and Capt Joe for having this web site to keep an update of all the good happenings in Gloucester .
