Cindy Hendrickson Stops By The Dock With a Eurodam Tour From Israel
Wow – what a great time we had at Joey C’s and Sons this morning. My 18 passengers from the Eurodam came all the way to Gloucester from Israel and actually got to hold lobsters and be photographed with them! They were good sports and loved walking everywhere; I promised to send them a copy of "The Perfect Storm" as only one person had heard of the movie. I agree with Scott from Top Dog in Rockport. He said, "Geez, they sound like they are speaking in French". It was such a special treat to have them see a "real" lobster operation up close and personal and I thank you so very much for all that you do to make us proud to be from Gloucester.
You’re the Best-Not like all the Rest!

Bob Ryan Represents! in San Diego
Bob Ryan pictured here with Chris White of White Labs in San Diego, California, last week. Bob was part of a small group of 18 from around the country to be educated on the cutting edge work being done by yeast designers and propagators for the distilling industry.
Chris White, president of White Labs, holds a vast library of proprietary yeast for brewery, winery and distilling (and sour dough bread). Chris has also authored articles and books on the subject of yeast. Bob and Chris are standing in front of only a partial amount of the inventory of yeast vials White Labs handles. If you think Bob “Pasteur” Ryan could run on about distilling before, don’t get him started on yeast!

Jane Gibbs Represents! In Sunny Bermuda
Hi Joey!
Here I am at the Royal Naval Dockyard in beautiful Bermuda representing the best blog evah! I cruised for the first time, aboard the Norwegian Dawn, on the Boston to Bermuda run, with a gang of 8 other passionate and crazy-ass seaglassers to peruse the Bermuda beaches. Had planned to take the sticker to the top of the Gibbs Hill Lighthouse but blew off that excursion to snorkel for seaglass at Fort St. Catherine! Congratulations on the CBS Boston Most Valuable Blogger win!!!!! Cheers to you and all your GMG peeps! Gloucester native, longtime FOB, and future return resident – Jane M. Gibbs (PS. Hello to all my seaglass buddies, friends, and family in Glosta!)

Dwight writes-
GMG was once again a witness to the sites and sounds of Europe, this time we are in Roma. A wonderful city, with warm people who send their love and affection to the folks on Cape Ann. Next on the agenda (tonight)…the closing ceremonies for the Barcelona (Spain, if in question) fire festival, aka: La Merce Festival. It features a fireworks and laser show. Monday, we head to Ibiza and then to Formentera.
As always, Dwight Hebert

The Mathews family are big fans of Good Morning Gloucester and our daughter Abbey who just Graduated from UMass Amherst this spring is spending a year in Florence Italy working on her Masters. Here she is "representing" at the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio. She’s already missing the Fall here…so I’m sure she’ll be looking forward to the fall pictures on GMG!

GMG Visits Northern California
Hi, Joey,
Just back from a few days fishing tailwater Steelhead streams in Northern California.
Here’s a picture my wife took with my GMG bumper sticker at Lakes Berryessa Campground.
It was great to be able to log in to GMG while in Ca. Managed it seven of the ten days
out there. Great pictures and videos of the Schooner Races.
