My View of Life on the Dock

Chill Factor…

Hello friends,
We hope that this email find you well, and slightly warmer than usual.
Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know that we are hosting our first, in-person event in the bookstore post-Covid on February 20th.
Colin Rhodes is a professor of art history, and author of several books on Primitivism and Outsider Art, and he will be joining us to introduce his new book on Gloucester artist Jon Sarkin. I’m sure you all know Jon’s story and his instantly recognizable work.
We would love to see you there, and would appreciate you passing this along to anyone that we may have missed (our event-promoting skills have gotten a little rusty).
Thanks, and be well.
Lucas + Caroline

I wonder if he’s available for Google lessons 🤷🏻♂️

Early this morning Atlantic Merlin, classified by Marine Traffic as an “Offshore tug/supply vessel” under Canadian registry, arrived a couple of miles off Eastern Point. I watched through the haze as several cargo packages were transferred to a smaller fishing boat. After the samller vessel left, Atlantic Merlin continued closer over the next several hours, finally inching out of sight up the Cape Ann coast during the sunny afternoon. It would be interesting to know what her assignment is.

They are all going in the same direction. Must be good food under the ocean.
