HELL, Mich. (WILX) – You know the old saying, “It’s a cold day in Hell.” Well, it’s been more like a cold week in Hell… Hell, Michigan that is.
Businesses in the small town about 15 miles northwest of Ann Arbor are closed down for the next couple of days.
It’s so cold there that people are using snowmobiles to get to an emergency warming center at the local saloon.
The people living there, however, love all the cliches about their small town.

Very cold I would say LJ time Long Johns! We used to take the old blankets cover the vehicle where did not have a Garage then store them out of elements, start them up let them run a while also used the electric oil dipsticks that kept the oil warm so it would not thicken easier to start.
The jet stream warm air north, cold air south (USA) Vortex. Now a tail wind when flying in a plane is a good thing speeds up the trip and headwind slows it down. Many trips in a plane this way found out why times different!
