Nov. 17, 2022 midday – pretty cotton cloud heaps, sunny blue skies, and hail
Love living on Cape Ann, weather can change within 3 hours. Also the ocean smell is amazing.
On Tuesday afternoon while sitting on the beach after work the clouds were beautiful.
We drove down a long and narrow dirt road to get to Lake Tashmoo Beach near Vineyard Haven on Monday night so that Finn and my nephew could fish while my mom, sister, and I enjoyed some drinks and a picnic on the beach for the sunset. The sky was overcast…but it still did not disappoint. Both boys are in their element while casting no matter what the conditions. As they walked out onto the jetty, the skies changed and the lighting started to strike. They were in no rush to leave… but we made them anyway.
Beach Days, my favorite, we had no rain on Saturday but a crazy cloud off in the distance.
Easter Sunday early morning, the fog was awesome especially around Kettle Island.
HELL, Mich. (WILX) – You know the old saying, “It’s a cold day in Hell.” Well, it’s been more like a cold week in Hell… Hell, Michigan that is.
Businesses in the small town about 15 miles northwest of Ann Arbor are closed down for the next couple of days.
It’s so cold there that people are using snowmobiles to get to an emergency warming center at the local saloon.
The people living there, however, love all the cliches about their small town.
Here is Little River at high tide in August

As the cold front was coming in the clouds were beautiful. As ominous as they looked, we received not much rain or thunder.
The clouds after snow, sun and a little rain on Monday made for a beautiful sky.
A look out towards the Wingaersheek sandbar from Lighthouse Beach. The snow is approaching quickly and the wind is up for sure.
Thanks to Betsey and Paul Horovitz for the photo!
Me and my iPhone 6 stepped out to see what the hell all that white stuff is falling from the sky. It’s Christmas every day in Gloucester. And yes, I still love it!!
Just for those who missed the storm on April fools, it was no joke!
If you love lightning and thunder, this one’s for you.
Enjoy the flashes and rumbles, and then the calm of rain and hail.
