Not sure I’ve ever seen long lines at all the gas stations prior to a storm like this before. Are we preparing for an exodus? Is it because they changed the name from a good ole fashioned blizzard to bomb cyclone? My only thought is that since its been so cold people have been putting off filling up and now we’ve had a fairly warm day they’ve decided to fill?? I’ve heard from friends from here to New York that have had long gas lines as well.

Thanks Bridgette, also people with generators need to fill their gas containers for the generator. We actually have one and at least we can work if the power goes out. It is not a whole house one but it works but if you have no gas, it does not work. I noticed the lines on Tuesday .. stay warm

It could also mean that many people need to buy gasoline to fill up the tank of their snowblower.

When it gets crazy cold, it is good to have a full tank of gas to prevent condensation.
