If you really want to know what I think, I think it is ridiculously out of scale for the neighborhood. I am also concerned that if it is successful, it will be taking the beach over.
I would have loved to see a hotel between Main and Rogers Streets with access to the lot and wharf at I4/C2.

I’m impressed. It’s going to look great. Also the myth of losing beach space is wrong. The footprint of the hotel is set farther back away from the beach than the Birdseye building.

Pavilion beach will always remain public. The hotel has a pool on the top floor. There is actually 20 more feet of beach since the old Birdseye plant was taken down. The ground floor of the hotel is parking. Jobs for Gloucester.
